Between fantasy and reality, part I of this editorial shoot expresses an ethereal lightness and pushes creative boundaries that are avant-garde.

Drawing inspiration from seasons and natural elements of nature, the couture and florals resemble the seasons through color, movement, and textures of nature, yet remain feminine and classical, with a whimsical touch of modernism through bridal florals.

A shoot encompasses so many different things, and a good location to set the stage is highly important for any shoot. In order to complete the looks, the story of each look needs to be cohesive, I scouted several locations before settling on the Air BnB that suited the seasons of Spring, Autumn, and Winter. Ideally located just a stone throw for the Summer look out at the beach.

The flowers played a key role in the entity of this shoot. With the goals and audiences in mind, we curated specific flowers choices to fit each look, such as the peonies and anemones for example. We sourced flowers from different parts of the world to showcase the luxurious and grandeur aspects of this editorial shoot. Though the flowers stood out on their own, they also complimented the looks and created a representation of the season through color and flower varieties.
