The Wild Legacy

Brand Identity | Visual Design | Web Design | Photography

The Wild Legacy was a self-initiated conservation project that merged my passion for wildlife photography and design. The goal was to create a platform that not only showcased the beauty of endangered animals but also highlighted the fragility of their existence. The project encompassed a full brand identity, a dedicated website, and supporting stationery — all aimed at building emotional resonance and sparking action.

The brand was built on the idea of a "living legacy" — the responsibility we share to protect and preserve nature for future generations. The name evokes both reverence and continuity, while the tone of voice combined urgency with hope. The visual identity featured earthy greens, deep browns, and soft neutrals, paired with an elegant serif logotype to reflect timelessness. The logo, a stylized simplicity of moving flowers at different heights, became the anchor of the brand.

Inspiration and Concept

The design approach was immersive and story-driven. The website led with large-scale wildlife photography to create instant emotional impact, supported by minimal copy to keep focus on the imagery. Layouts were clean, allowing space for reflection, while subtle textures hinted at natural landscapes. The stationery range — including business cards, letterheads, and postcards — was printed on recycled stock, reinforcing the project’s sustainability ethos. The visual language was cohesive across mediums, ensuring the brand felt trustworthy and memorable.

Though the project has since been discontinued, The Wild Legacy succeeded in raising awareness within my network and building connections with conservation communities. It also became a personal milestone — proof of how design, when aligned with passion, can drive meaningful conversations and create work that lives beyond a single campaign. Today, it stands in my portfolio as a reminder of design’s potential to inspire empathy and action.
