The Wild Legacy by Bhavika marries artfulness with purpose - creating a brand that encourages and shares in the cultivated beauty of nature and the need to preserve it.

Modern, approachable, grounded, purposeful and elevated, The Wild Legacy by Bhavika is a visual extension of my already established values and signature aesthetic found in my photography.

The challenge was to make my clients understand this project and how they could play a part on it as well. Though this was close to home, design is integral to everything I do.

Brand Concept

With a profound love for nature, I wanted to create a concept that feels elevated with nature in mind. Less about the aesthetic and more about cultivating something that is intentional and organic. Already having a photography business and knowing who my clientele are, I wanted to capture the timelessness and luxuriousness that I strive to achieve in my event work – though in its artful simplicity.

Knowing my aesthetic and what I like, designing a visual identity that would stand the test of time was challenging - not to mention slightly terrifying as I know I set high standards for myself in everything I do. I took the time to understand where I wanted this passion project to go and grow.

The Website

I created a custom website design for The Wild Legacy by Bhavika. Reflective of my values and aesthetic while catering to a distinct audience. Though it’s own idea & brand, the design was complementary to my previous photography website.

Inspired by my penchant for creating imagery with beauty and meaning, I wanted to create an online environment for my conservation brand that carries the weight of my nature and wildlife photographs but adds another layer of depth to my existing photography site. My essence is evident throughout the site–with copy that is emotive and authentic, immersive imagery, relaxed typography, and an emphasis on audience engagement. With the use of natural tones, intentional negative space, and timeless design elements, the websites provide a thoughtful, evergreen backdrop for my nature and wildlife portfolio, as well as imagery with purpose.

I found myself mirroring the kinds of imagery I love taking to the designs I feel are timeless. The end result celebrates my love for nature, photography and conservation.

The Wild Legacy by Bhavika is a passion project created to support and bring conservation to the planet we call home. Through my photography, I strive to inspire and impact environmental changes by providing financial support to non-profit organizations with a focus on Global Sustainability, to create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world. The goal is to directly support the conservancies that create awareness and sustainability by restoring forests, building communities, creating jobs, and protecting habitats for biodiversity.

While the print shop is something I am looking forward to further incorporating, the goal of implementing conservation efforts in alongside this is the future. The image displays an option for accompanying stationery with every hand-signed print image sold.
